JOSÉ MARTÍNEZ
José Martínez is the Lee Teng-hui Professor and the Senior Associate Dean for Diversity and Academic Affairs in the College of Engineering at Cornell University. His research focuses primarily on microarchitecture, shared-memory multiprocessing, intelligent memories, and hardware support for run-time adaptation. He was Assistant Director of the JUMP 1.0 Center for Research on Intelligent Storage and Processing in Memory (CRISP, 2018-23) and is co-founder and Associate Director of the NSF Science and Technology Center for Research on Programmable Plant Systems (CROPPS, 2021-26). Prof. Martínez is an IEEE Fellow and an elected member of SIGARCH's Board of Directors. He earned MS and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
