Mohit Twari is an Associate Professor and Raytheon Company Faculty Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. His research covers security and privacy across the computing stack, from processors to operating systems and applications, and has received best paper or annual top pick awards in computer systems (ASPLOS, PACT, MICRO Top Picks) and security (HOST, NYU CSAW) communities. His recent work on protecting users' data has been spun out as a data-centric category-creating company, Symmetry Systems, and his prior work on secure information flow has been commercialized via a hardware-security company Cycuity. He received his PhD from UC Santa Barbara.
